About the Role

We're a fast-growing online retailer with over $11 billion in total online sales, recognized as a market leader in our niche. Our products are trusted by both collectors and investors, and our high-traffic website (10+ million monthly visits) requires modern, scalable technology. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead the development and support of our core platforms, including e-commerce, internal systems, and integrations. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving software strategy, ensuring performance and scalability, and building high-performing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Guide software strategy and execution across the organization.
Lead development teams and drive architecture decisions.
Oversee production operations and partner with product and infrastructure teams.
Ensure systems scale with the business and deliver excellent customer experiences.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in software engineering or technology leadership roles.
At least 2 years of experience managing engineering teams.
Strong background in B2C e-commerce or retail environments.
Experience supporting high-traffic, customer-facing applications.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and deliver scalable solutions.

Nice to Have

PHP development, including Laravel, Phalcon, or Lumen.
Experience with headless architecture, APIs, and microservices.
Knowledge of React or Next.js.
Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce plugin customization.
Experience with production support and operational monitoring.
Ability to work with design teams to implement UI/UX guidelines and brand standards.
