About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing requirements, translating them into technical solutions, writing and developing code, conducting unit testing, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, by providing documentation, direction, feedback, and performing design and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information, engaging support teams, formulating action plans, performing root cause analysis, and documenting resolutions.

Requirements

• Backend development experience with Java, Spring, Springboot, REST, RPC.
• Scripting experience with Python and Shell.
• Working knowledge in front-end development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React, NodeJS), Big Data (Hive, Spark), and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with modern unit testing frameworks (e.g., Testng, Junit).
• Experience building microservices and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of private and public cloud technologies.
• Ability to work with designers on dynamic user experiences.
• Experience building and maintaining production applications and large-scale systems.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to balance urgency with quality.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 1 year of experience.
• Background in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
• Experience with assistive technologies and integrating digital accessibility.
• CISCO Certification in Information Technology.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience.
• Option 2: 5 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
