About the Role

The Senior Technical Lead is a key technical authority responsible for defining and owning the end-to-end technical architecture and delivery roadmap on Google Cloud Platform for media or entertainment projects. The role involves engaging with senior client stakeholders, providing technical guidance, and ensuring project success through hands-on leadership and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture and delivery roadmap on Google Cloud Platform
Serve as the trusted technical advisor to senior client leadership, effectively communicating strategy, progress, and risks
Lead a distributed onsite/offshore team, setting a high standard for engineering excellence through hands-on coding and mentorship
Diagnose and resolve deep technical challenges and systemic issues to ensure project milestones are met

Requirements

Experience of 10 years in software engineering with 5 years in a technical leadership or architect role
Proven experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership at Director, VP, SVP levels
Deep hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform, including services like Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage
Mastery of Python and a strong background in building and deploying AI/ML systems, particularly for video or image processing

Qualifications

10+ years in software engineering
5+ years in a technical leadership or architect role
Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage
Strong Python programming skills and AI/ML deployment experience
