Senior Web Full Stack Engineer (Las Vegas)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop scalable, user-facing web applications using React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Design and implement backend services using Ruby, Go, Java, or Node.js, including API design, database integration, and service-oriented architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions for gaming applications.
• Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and features.
• Maintain and optimize relational databases, such as MySQL, to ensure performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Able to work in-office 5 days a week in Las Vegas HQ (relocation assistance available).
• Experience in building scalable, user-facing web applications with React or similar frameworks using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of backend development experience with Ruby, Go, Java, or Node.js, including API design and database integration.
• 2+ years of experience working with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in the Gaming Industry or with Unity and a passion for building services for games is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or Kubernetes (K8s), managing and deploying backend services in production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships).
• 2+ years of experience building web applications with React or similar frameworks.
• 3+ years of backend development experience with Ruby, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• 2+ years of experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
