We are looking for a software engineer to join our dev ops team to help us manage our diverse and growing set of initiatives. This position is a contract role and can work remotely anywhere in the US or outside of the US. They should be willing and open to collaborate with our US based engineering team during their business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to cutting-edge greenfield projects that push the boundaries of advertising technology
Develop scalable back-end and front-end code using Ruby/Rails, Java, JavaScript, Elixir/Phoenix
Experiment with emerging technologies to identify the optimal tools for each task
Maintain exceptional code quality through thorough code reviews and comprehensive automated tests
Utilize agile methodologies to manage multiple weekly releases
Participate in and enhance DevOps processes for our revenue-critical applications

Requirements

An experienced software engineer who excels in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, with a history of collaborating effectively with product and QA teams
A proven track record of delivering high-quality code on time and within budget
A self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision
Passionate about technology and eager to learn new skills
A team player who is willing to go the extra mile to help colleagues succeed

Nice to Have

Experience with Ruby/Rails, JavaScript (Node.js, jQuery, Vue.js), Elixir/Phoenix
Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with AWS services (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, ElastiCache, RDS)
Experience with Google Cloud (EKS, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions)
