Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build, design, and maintain software services using TypeScript/Next.js with guidance from peers, managers, and the technical architect.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Deliver features in sprint cycles with frequent deployments to production.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming with engineers across teams, including Data and AI Lab.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience writing production-ready TypeScript code using frameworks such as Next.js, React, and NestJS.
• Familiarity with backend technologies, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and experience integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Proficient with Git and GitHub.
• Knowledge of UI design patterns, principles, and best practices.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems architecture.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Selenium).
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, AWS preferred.
• Familiarity with cross-platform mobile application development.
