The Software Engineer role involves performing software development tasks supporting Navy programs, with experience in coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System. The position requires special access and an active government Secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs.
Develop, integrate, and troubleshoot software systems.
Refactor software systems and assist in testing and troubleshooting.

Requirements

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field and at least 1 year of related experience.
Development, integration, troubleshooting experience with the Linux/Unix Operating System.
Experience in software development, integration, troubleshooting using C or C++ or Java or Python.
Experience developing scripts using Bash or Python.
Experience with K8s or K3s, Podman, or other containerization or orchestration technologies.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Nice to Have

Basic understanding of Agile full software life-cycle development.
Desire to integrate, test, troubleshoot, and refactor software systems.

Qualifications

BS degree in a relevant STEM field.
At least 1 year of related experience.
