Be open minded, forward thinking, and passionate about great software
Think about how to solve problems in scale and build fault tolerant systems
Develop testable, high-quality, and ship-ready code with ample test coverage
Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive implementation, testing and development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
5+ years of professional experience building single-page applications
Experience working with C# and .Net Core
Experience with SQL Databases
Experience developing in large scale distributed systems

Nice to Have

Experience building/consuming RESTful web-services
Experience with microservice architecture
Experience with NoSQL Databases (e.g. Cassandra, CosmosDB)
Experience with ETL / data processing pipelines (e.g. Spark, Databricks)
Experience shipping highly available, scalable service on Azure
Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git) build process, testing, and code release
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
Ability and desire to move across technology stacks
Passion for working on a highly available site
Passion to learn new software technologies

Wage range in Illinois and Colorado: $133,800.00 - $189,000.00 base salary
