As a Software Engineer Associate within PNC's Retail Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location, with responsibilities requiring time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
  • Assists with designing software solutions.
  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities related to application development, design, and testing.
  • Typically requires a university/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.
  • Preferred skills include application development, business management, customer solutions, design, group problem solving, process improvements, release management, software solutions, and user experience (UX) design.
  • Competencies include application design, architecture, application development tools, application maintenance, application testing, system development life cycle, and technical writing/documentation.
  • No required certifications or licenses.
