As a Software Engineer Associate within PNC's Retail Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location, with responsibilities requiring time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Assists in the development, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
Assists with designing software solutions.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and abilities related to application development, design, and testing.
Typically requires a university/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.
Preferred skills include application development, business management, customer solutions, design, group problem solving, process improvements, release management, software solutions, and user experience (UX) design.
Competencies include application design, architecture, application development tools, application maintenance, application testing, system development life cycle, and technical writing/documentation.
No required certifications or licenses.
