About the Role

The Software Engineer is a Full Stack Developer for the Mobile & Digital Development team at SS&C, an organization that builds mobile applications and APIs for a new Digital Experience effort. The role involves designing and implementing applications and services supporting digital experience offerings, including mobile applications built on hybrid technology, and contributing to the development of a next-generation cloud platform to enable faster delivery of digital solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities

Designing and implementing applications and services supporting digital experience offerings, including a mobile application built on hybrid technology.
Integrating with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, VMs, data platforms, networking, and storage.
Implementing industry-wide best practices around micro-service development.
Building common components for reuse across the organization, maintaining documentation, demo applications, and reviewing pull requests.
Evolving the development ecosystem by exploring and prototyping new solutions.
Sharing an on-call rotation and acting as the escalation contact for service incidents.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in a software engineering role.
Proven ability in developing Single Page Applications using Angular framework.
Proven ability writing RESTful APIs using Java and Spring.
Proven ability with relational and document databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB).
Proven ability learning new open-source software, APIs, and frameworks.
Proven ability with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js).
Proven ability with Mobile development for iOS and Android platforms using hybrid technology (e.g., Cordova, Capacitor, Ionic).
Proven ability writing HTTP services in higher-level languages (e.g., Java/Spring).
Proven ability in Content Management using DotCMS.
Proven ability in Adobe Analytics for Web and Mobile analytics.
Proven ability in implementing OIDC, OAuth, and SAML authentication protocols with Keycloak.
Proven ability with object-oriented and cloud-native design.
Familiarity with automated testing, modern CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, bash, Git, JIRA, and agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

Experience with automated testing.
Experience with cloud-native design principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
