About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy new user-facing features from the initial concept to millions of Gemini users.
Write code for frontend clients on Android, iOS, and Web, as well as for frontend server infrastructure that powers the user experience.
Partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and AI researchers to transform model capabilities into intuitive product features.
Architect elegant, scalable, and performant systems focused on shipping high-quality, reliable features.

Requirements

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Kotlin, Swift, Java, Objective-C, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
Experience with A/B testing or experimentation frameworks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience building and shipping applications on Android, iOS, or modern Web platforms.
Experience developing and deploying user-facing applications powered by LLMs.
A data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics and user logging to inform product decisions.
Familiarity with Google-specific tools like Mendel experimentation or RASTA.

Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent industry experience.
