Key Responsibilities

Shape the way physicians engage with and consume medical content by building and enhancing features that deliver timely, relevant updates.
Drive technical improvements across the stack (Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, GraphQL, MySQL, AWS), ensuring the Newsfeed and supporting products are robust, scalable, and high-performing.
Work within a cross-functional team to translate product vision into practical, user-focused solutions that improve the overall platform experience.
Continuously iterate on existing features, leveraging analytics and user feedback to optimize for engagement, usability, and reliability.
Contribute to a culture of technical excellence by sharing knowledge, participating in code reviews, and supporting team growth.
Proactively identify and resolve complex issues, ensuring the Newsfeed remains a trusted and reliable resource for physicians.

Requirements

Experience working with Ruby and Rails, with a pragmatic approach to delivering high-quality products.
Ability to work independently as a manager-of-one, focused on delivering functional solutions.
Comfortable working in small product and engineering teams (3-6 people).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with building and maintaining scalable, high-performing web applications.
Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js, and backend technologies including GraphQL, MySQL, and AWS is preferred.

Nice to Have

Experience with Vue.js, GraphQL, MySQL, AWS, or similar technologies.
Experience contributing to technical improvements and supporting team growth.
Prior experience working in healthcare or medical technology is a plus.

Qualifications

Relevant experience in software development, particularly with Ruby on Rails.
Proven ability to work independently and deliver functional solutions.
Strong communication skills.
