At Honeywell Solutions and Services, we run Energy Efficiency and Demand Response programs that help save energy for utilities and customers. You would be part of an Agile team responsible for developing the NextGen CRM/Work order management system used by the company and its customers. The role involves all stages of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
  • Develop code and conduct unit testing
  • Troubleshoot and debug software applications
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback
  • Design and develop components of the new platform
  • Develop backend oracle procedures and code queries
  • Build quality software using tools such as JIRA, GIT, COPILOT
  • Apply and promote high-quality engineering practices
  • Provide relative estimates for development effort, validate, and improve continuously
  • Provide operational support of the solution

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • 2 years of experience as an Oracle/SQL Developer with PL SQL experience
  • 4 years of experience developing software solutions in a comparable software stack
  • Ability to understand both functional and non-functional requirements of a solution built for scale
  • Good principles of software design and architecture

  • Understanding various software development lifecycle
  • Experience with .Net / C#
  • Demonstrated ability to develop efficient and high-quality software
  • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
  • Experience working with diverse and global teams

  • Excellent communication skills and a humble, team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
