About the Role

Radiant is seeking a driven Software Engineer - New Grad with a strong computer science background. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and nuclear teams to develop software that keeps simulation and analysis for reactor design, development, and maintenance running smoothly. You will have an opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary environment with a high degree of ownership and drive milestones forward to unlock commercialization of the first mass-produced nuclear reactor.

Key Responsibilities

Create tooling to support simulation software - CI/CD pipelines, data and workflow automation, third-party suite integration.
Own several internal software products that support mission-critical analysis.
Support the development of production software for data storage and automation of manufactured parts.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar discipline.
Familiarity with Python, C++, C#, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
Familiarity with software development and documentation best practices, including version control in Git.

Nice to Have

Highly self-motivated with strong communication skills.
Experience writing or contributing to simulation tools.
Experience testing software and hardware systems.
Experience with distributed software development and familiarity with common design patterns.
Interests in physics, hardware, and electrical engineering.
