As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Asset Management Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.
Design, code, test, and deploy scalable software applications using Angular/Typescript, Java, Spring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design and QA to deliver technology solutions.
Write and maintain technical documentation for new and existing systems.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to software engineering discussions.
Troubleshoot and debug applications in production and non-production environments.
Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Bitbucket for future code enhancements and repository needs.

Requirements

Experience with design, coding, testing, and deploying scalable software applications using Angular/Typescript, Java, Spring.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design and QA.
Experience in troubleshooting and debugging applications in production and non-production environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Bitbucket.
Typically requires a university/college degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Basic understanding of technical documentation and software maintenance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
3+ years of relevant/industry experience
