About the Role

This senior role fosters collaboration with other senior engineers for the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile development projects in support of a high-visibility mission. This position involves providing technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive mission objectives. Key Responsibilities

Foster collaboration with other senior engineers for the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile projects.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive mission objectives.
Deploy Docker containers to Kubernetes and ensure configurations support multiple users uploading large datasets.
Update VT research code in Python, build media servers using Kotlin, and update existing REST APIs.
Address issues that may occur in the production environment.

Requirements

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 9 years of professional experience.
TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
Experience with Kotlin, Java, Python.
Experience developing REST APIs (FastAPI and Spring preferred).
Experience with Docker, GIT, and Gitlab.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with RabbitMQ.
Experience with Ray.
Experience with Spring.
Experience with FastAPI.
Experience with S3 and AWS.
Experience with PostgresSQL or similar SQL implementations.
Experience with Elasticsearch.

Qualifications

Experience as a Software Engineer with knowledge assisting in design, development, testing, and debugging of software solutions.
Experience with Linux and Unix operating systems.
Strong familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and Hadoop.
Experience with REST API development and deployment.
