About the Role

At Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, we're taking innovation to the next level. From designing the most advanced air vehicle to designing aircraft that defy gravity, our engineers live on the cutting edge of technology. The F-35 Core Processing Software (CPSW) Development Team is looking to expand the support of production test activities (CSCI Test Team). This position is primarily for Software Test Engineering, focusing on analyzing requirements, performing software quality testing, and developing automation utilities to improve test quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and create safety critical test cases to ensure proper behavior of the air vehicle.
  • Perform software quality testing and produce engineering documentation such as Software Quality Test Report Summaries and Software Problem Anomaly Reports.
  • Perform root cause analysis for failing test cases and communicate findings to the CPSW development team for resolution.
  • Develop automation utilities and applications to improve test quality and efficiency.
  • Create and execute unit tests for C++ software and scripts.

Requirements

  • Experience with C++, swat, and Python.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university.
  • Must be a US citizen and eligible for a government security investigation and access to classified information.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and create safety critical test cases.
  • Proficiency in developing C++ software and creating swat scripts.

Nice to Have

  • Familiar with Object oriented design patterns.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development.
  • Experience with Embedded Engineering.
  • Experience with SEAL1 and SEAL3 TCB software testing.
  • Experienced Agile Scrum Master.
  • Experience creating Software Quality Test Reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline.
  • Experience with software testing and automation development.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
