About the Role

This position is ideal for mid to senior-level Software Engineers with strong C++ skills, a passion for 3D algorithms, and experience in leading software development teams to join the Operations Software Development team as a Sr. 3D C++ Software Engineer, owning, designing, and building features for our critical manufacturing software, and coordinating activities of other team members involved. Partnering with cross-functional and multiregional teams utilizing a broad set of technologies and tools, you will have the opportunity to interact and share experiences with colleagues from multiple countries and cultures that will help you to grow with us and develop your professional career.

Key Responsibilities

Develop automated CAD/CAM systems for medical device mass production, using C++ and Python with clear code review and unit test procedures.
Fully own component and feature development projects, be responsible for planning, coordinating work of all involved engineers, and ensuring timely delivery.
Prototype solutions to help Biomechanical Engineers design products for manufacturing.
Design solutions for 3D Printing, Laser Marking and Laser Trimming, and other manufacturing technologies.
Research current trends and emerging technologies and effectively implement them.
Translate physical manufacturing testing results to software requirements.
Interact with customers and internal testing department to improve the product.
Design and agree high-level technical architecture with the R&D team.

Requirements

Strong C++ skills and experience in software development.
Passion for 3D algorithms and related technologies.
Experience in leading software development teams.
Ability to develop automated CAD/CAM systems.
Knowledge of prototyping solutions for manufacturing design.
Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as 3D Printing, Laser Marking, and Laser Trimming.
Ability to research and implement emerging technologies.
Experience translating physical testing results into software requirements.
Excellent collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams and customers.
