Sr Software Engineer (Angular, Java, AWS)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, refactor, and migrate existing applications in compliance with federal security standards (NIST 800-53, Moderate).
• Develop and maintain scalable front-end and back-end components using Angular, JavaScript, and Java.
• Participate in cloud migration (lift-and-shift) projects, moving applications and data to AWS Cloud.
• Ensure that all development activities align with ATO (Authority to Operate) requirements and security control implementations.
• Work with DevOps, security, and operations teams to integrate code into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform secure code reviews and implement necessary remediations based on vulnerability scans or findings.
• Support system documentation for audits, reviews, and ongoing system accreditation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Angular, JavaScript, Java, and relational databases.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Experience with cloud migration projects, particularly lift-and-shift efforts.
• Preferred AWS Certification.
• Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

• Salary range: $127,500 - $172,500, based on experience and location.
