Key Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
Creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices, considering scalability, reliability, and performance
Performs analysis on failures, proposes design changes, and encourages operational improvements
Makes sound design and coding decisions with customer experience in mind
Takes feedback from code reviews and applies changes to meet standards
Conducts code reviews to guide engineering best practices and ensure compliance
Ensures all aspects of product development follow compliance and security standards
Focuses on software reliability engineering standards in development
Embraces emerging technologies and contributes to best practices supporting the bank's technology transformation
Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Reviews tasks critically, prioritizes and sizes them for incremental delivery, and communicates blockers or delays

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Five to six years of relevant experience
Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles
Strong experience with API Gateways such as Apigee and Service Mesh ISTIO
Proficiency in logging and alerting tools like Datadog, Splunk, ELK
Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot
Web technologies experience: SOAP, REST, XSD, JSON, XML, Apollo GraphQL
Experience in Data Management / Event Streaming: Postgres, DB2, SQL Server, Kafka, NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, MSK
Operating System experience: Linux, Windows, zOS
Knowledge of Information Security Vulnerability Management tools: Black Duck, Twistlock/PRISMA, Fortify
Experience with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines: Cloudbees Jenkins, Rancher
Experience with Source Code Management: Gitlab
Cloud experience: Azure, Microservices, Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
Familiarity with Agile tools: JIRA, JIRA Align, JIRA Dragonboat, Confluence
Optional: Knowledge of zOS Connect and COBOL

Qualifications
