Key Responsibilities

Develop new algorithms for Place and Route
Implement place and route feature and capability
Support Lattice's new FPGA product
Optimize Place and Route to achieve better Fmax, Runtime, and Memory usage
Improve Place and Route engine quality
Create unit tests to validate implementation and ensure high quality

Requirements

BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
12+ years of industry experience in Place and Route development
Strong background and experience in data structures and algorithms
Proficient with C++
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and collaboration skill
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize appropriately and manage competing priorities

Nice to Have

Knowledge in Verilog/VHDL
Experience of multi-processing development
Solid understanding of FPGA architectures

Qualifications

Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
