About the Role

The Summer 2026 Corporate Analytics Intern position at FNB provides college students with the opportunity to perform analysis, interpret results, and present findings in a business setting. The internship includes driving actionable insights for business decisions, developing and maintaining dashboards, and telling data-driven stories. Interns will shadow a Business Analytics Analyst in cross-functional department and executive meetings, applying their knowledge of finance, business, analytics, and statistics to real-world scenarios within the Corporate Analytics department. This experience aims to provide practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work as a corporate analytics professional within a recognized Top Workplace organization.

Key Responsibilities

Assists the lead analyst in applying quantitative methods to solve business problems.
Assists the lead analyst in interpreting analytics results and providing actionable insights.
Uses SAS, SQL, Hyperion, Python, and Microsoft tools to assist with analysis and results validation.
Assists with the identification of online training resources and creation of knowledge-based articles and documentation.
Assists with the development and maintenance of department documents including project plans, policies, and procedures.
Complete project assignments in conjunction with rotations and work with appropriate oversight to accomplish objectives.
Learn to develop and prioritize action steps and establish work plans to meet objectives.

Requirements

Must be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program with a major in areas such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
No prior work experience required.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
Familiarity with industry standard software packages such as SAS, SQL, Hyperion, Python, and Microsoft tools.
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
Demonstrated curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team environment.
Understanding of basic financial concepts and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Nice to Have

Experience with data visualization tools.
Knowledge of finance, economics, or related fields.
Previous internship or work experience in banking or financial services.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program in relevant fields.
