About the Role

The Summer 2026 Corporate Analytics Intern position at FNB offers college students the opportunity to perform analysis, interpret results, and present findings in a business setting. The internship includes driving actionable insights for business decisions, developing and maintaining dashboards, and telling data-driven stories. Interns will shadow Business Analytics Analysts and apply their knowledge of finance, business, analytics, and statistics to real-world scenarios within the Corporate Analytics department. This experience provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work in a recognized top workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assists the lead analyst in applying quantitative methods to solve business problems.
Interprets analytics results and provides actionable insights.
Uses SAS, SQL, Hyperion, Python, and Microsoft tools to assist with analysis and results validation.
Assists with the identification of online training resources and creation of knowledge-based articles and documentation.
Supports the development and maintenance of department documents including project plans, policies, and procedures.
Learn and apply analytics techniques to respond to specific business questions.
Present analysis results in written and oral formats to management.
Summarize results and create data visualizations to communicate effectively with business owners.
Network with peers, leaders, and executives throughout the organization.

Requirements

Must be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program with a major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
Experience with industry standard software packages such as SAS, SQL, Hyperion, Python, and Microsoft tools.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and orally.
Demonstrated curiosity, willingness to learn, and intellectual engagement.
Ability to work well in teams and collaborate effectively.
Responsible, accountable, and able to meet deadlines.
Understanding of basic financial concepts, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Nice to Have

Experience with data visualization tools.
Previous internship or work experience in finance, analytics, or related fields.
Knowledge of industry-specific financial drivers and credit skills.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
Enrolled in an undergraduate program in relevant fields.
