A role on the Supply Chain Operations team means you will support our supply chain facilities in making it easy to deliver to stores and guests while unlocking enterprise growth. You will leverage your analytical capabilities to design and deploy supply chain measures within our value stream and analyze data which solve highly complex business problems related to performance and quality. You will work directly with our field teams to design leading and lagging supply chain metrics and then work with data and business intelligence partners to construct, test, and deploy those metrics across Target's network.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-of-life disposition of company assets and non-retail items, making decisions to ensure materials are directed to responsible end markets.
- Lead efforts to identify and develop new, sustainable end markets for items currently being sent to landfill.
- Maintain strong partnerships with certified recyclers and vendors.
- Manage electronic recycling and e-waste stewardship programs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Track and report program performance related to waste diversion and sustainability initiatives.
- Train internal teams on proper disposal practices.
- Support the design and deployment of supply chain measures within the value stream.
- Analyze data to solve complex business problems related to performance and quality.
- Work with field teams to design supply chain metrics and collaborate with data and business intelligence partners to implement them.
Requirements
- 4-year degree (supply chain, operations, business) or equivalent experience.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong initiative and willingness to take risks.
- Good reasoning, conflict-management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Flexible, resilient, and comfortable in ‘grey areas' that are constantly changing.
- Ability to operate in a Hybrid/Flex work arrangement, performing duties onsite and virtually as needed.
- Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
Nice to Have
- Experience with supply chain, operations, or sustainability programs.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards related to e-waste and recycling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, operations, or business.
