System Automation Software Engineer Mid - Clearance Required

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Establish a test framework and automated tests utilizing Cucumber and Cyprus.
• Design and implement microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks.
• Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Participate in agile development and software delivery processes.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/education.
• 5 or more years of professional experience, or 3 years with a related Master's degree.
• An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
• Knowledge of microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, test frameworks, and automation.
• Experience with load testing, performance testing, and agile development methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tools), Selenium, Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• Professional experience of at least 3-5 years depending on education level.
• Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
