About the Role

As a Vice President, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis II at BNY, you will join our Corporate Trust Analytics team and contribute to analyzing asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, and risk exposure through statistical, financial, and econometric models. This role involves working with internal and external datasets, interpreting complex legal documents, and preparing reports to support team goals. The position is based out of Houston, TX, with a hybrid work schedule (4 days in office). Key Responsibilities

  • Working with internal and external datasets and client reference data to develop statistical, financial, and econometric models.
  • Analyzing asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure, or other sophisticated concepts.
  • Computing statistical values, identifying model development performance, and comparing model results to test data while taking corrective actions.
  • Utilizing understanding of analysis methodologies to support assessment of performance, risk, or valuation.
  • Reviewing and interpreting complex legal documents.
  • Preparing ad hoc reports and contributing to team goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, MIS, Information Management, Data Science, or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of experience with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in quantitative finance and technology preferred.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and MS Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation techniques.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in quantitative finance and technology.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in computer science, MIS, Information Management, Data Science, or equivalent.
