Visual Designer - Print Services

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Manager Print Services in concept and creative development for complex campaigns, ensuring client needs and objectives are met within all campaign components, delivering concepts and final artwork on time and on budget.
• Work directly with the Manager Print Services and other creative team members to brainstorm innovative ideas appropriate for message, audience, and budget.
• Create and develop a wide range of digital and print projects, including website and microsite design/development, infographics, and print materials.
• Adhere to and maintain brand standards, providing quality assurance of creative deliverables and art direction of collateral, campaigns, and photo/video shoots as needed.
• Build and maintain positive rapport with clients, team members, partner agencies, photographers, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of jobs produced and attach final artwork to jobs electronically in the Creative Management software, delivering files to production/traffic upon completion.
• Monitor and update the status of assigned jobs daily using Creative Management software and communicate delays or issues to leadership or the traffic manager.
• Manage individual client projects throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Graphic Design, Visual Art, or related field with a minimum of four years of experience in visual/graphic design.
• Or Associates degree in Graphic Design, Visual Art, or related field with a minimum of six years of experience in visual/graphic design.
• Experience with on-line and off-line mass advertising campaigns.
• Proficiency with design software, photography, and web design.
• Strong professional and communication skills.
• Short-form copywriting skills.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of other design/illustration software.

Nice to Have

• Experience with on-line and off-line campaign strategy development.
• Videography skills.
• Social media strategy development experience.

Qualifications

• Educational background as specified in requirements (BS/BA or Associates degree in related field).
• Minimum years of experience as specified in requirements.
