About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching and developing curricular materials for courses in Data Analytics and Decision Sciences.
• Teaching in MBA and Executive Education programs, including influencing practice through writing and applied work.
• Contributing to curriculum development and program offerings, including elective and required courses.
• Engaging in research that influences both academic and practitioner communities.
• Participating in activities that foster a learning environment that inspires and engages students and colleagues.

Requirements

• PhD in Decision Sciences, Data Science, Management Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, or related areas by the date of appointment.
• Outstanding teaching ability and effectiveness in working with practicing managers and executives.
• Ability to bring a distinctive competency to the School, such as a noteworthy research niche or teaching excellence.
• Experience or interest in teaching courses related to decision analysis, data analysis, optimization, or data science in business.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with curriculum development in Data Analytics or related fields.
• Research contributions or expertise in areas such as behavioral decision making, game theory, or project management.
• Previous experience in executive education or practitioner-oriented research.

• PhD in relevant field by the appointment date.
