Advanced Analytics Manager - ZS Discovery

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create measurable impact across many clients by delivering innovation throughout the drug discovery process
• Partner with ZS leaders and client service teams to sell and deliver Discovery projects for Life Science clients, including project scoping, approach definition, project management and execution, client communication, people management
• Serve as a primary day-to-day project lead, manage multiple workstreams ensuring fulfillment of project objectives on-time and on-budget
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert to support teams in client project proposals, client discussions, thought leadership, etc.
• Build long term, trusted relationships with clients & internal stakeholders
• Stay current on latest research and drug discovery trends; develop Points of Views, offerings, frameworks, tools, whitepapers, etc. on discovery innovations
• Partner with other Discovery leaders to support team growth and development including mentoring / coaching junior members of the team, manage and collaborate with an extended global team of diverse skill sets

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to effectively apply advanced algorithms and technologies (Deep learning, NLP, recommenders, distributed computing, etc) to solve complex, real-world problems
• Experience framing first-of-a-kind business problems into analytical solutions and deploying large-scale AI solutions in production
• Ability to blend team leadership with hands-on contributions to stay at the leading edge of innovation
• Demonstrated leadership in the use of advanced analytics to improve drug discovery
• Passion to transform therapeutic discovery across the industry
• PhD, MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable
• Approximately 6-8+ years of relevant prior experience, ideally including professional service or management consulting experience
• Experience working with pre-clinical research clients is highly desirable but not necessary
• Record of successful and continued business development
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to influence others
• Analytical problem solving skills, with an ability to see the big picture and delve into details
• Excellent organization and planning skills
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and work collaboratively

Qualifications

• PhD, MBA or other advanced degree (highly desirable)
• Approximately 6-8+ years of relevant experience, including professional service or management consulting
