About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and testing embedded systems, products, and services for land and air systems.
• Applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.
• Providing technical leadership and positioning others for success.
• Leading the software development process within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• Requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• Agile experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship due to the nature of work performed within the facilities.

Nice to Have

• Strong experience with embedded C/C++ & Python.
• Strong experience with Linux.
• Software Development Leadership experience.
• Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
• Ability to lead the software development process.
• Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
