AI and Machine Learning Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of applied scientists and machine learning engineers to deliver impactful AI solutions.
• Identify and prioritize high-value AI/ML opportunities that align with company objectives.
• Collaborate across departments to integrate AI solutions into core business functions.
• Research and implement new machine learning methodologies to enhance current capabilities.
• Present findings, insights, and technical recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Develop and deploy end-to-end ML systems, including data preprocessing, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Create and manage robust model evaluation frameworks.
• Build and maintain automated ML pipelines with continuous training and real-time inference capabilities.
• Support customer-facing, sales, and marketing initiatives through intelligent ML models.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and other controlled experiments to measure business impact and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
• At least 10 years of experience in software development using languages such as Python, Java, R, or C++
• 3+ years of experience managing technical teams focused on data science or machine learning
• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying ML systems, with strong knowledge of continuous training and delivery pipelines
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques
• Proven experience building scalable AI solutions in domains such as recommendation systems, personalization, optimization, or search
• Hands-on experience with big data tools and large-scale data processing frameworks
• Strong ability to translate complex data findings into actionable business strategies and communicate them to a wide range of audiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
