Ambulatory Revenue Cycle Business Analyst - Remote

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide revenue cycle management analysis in all areas of revenue cycle operations including patient financial services, decision support and analytics, productivity and quality management, root cause analysis, patient access, registration/admission, and health information management.
• Understand key revenue cycle metrics and performance indicators and provide reporting of operational and financial performance.
• Evaluate and interpret data to monitor performance, identify trends, and determine root cause issues.
• Communicate findings of analyses and audits effectively to support operational and financial decisions.
• Understand and represent Optum360 Business Intelligence and services to improve partner operations.
• Collaborate with partner revenue cycle teams to facilitate resolution of process issues and implement solutions.
• Serve as a resource for special projects and priority analysis assignments.
• Analyze large data sets, identify patterns and trends, and evaluate business processes for improvement.
• Manage multiple client-related priorities concurrently and track project status.
• Write client reports summarizing project objectives, approach, and results.

Requirements

• 4+ years of work experience in Revenue Cycle Management including Patient Financial Services.
• 2+ years of experience in RCM Analytics.
• 2+ years of experience in an acute setting.
• Experience in business intelligence visualization tools (Power BI and/or Tableau).
• Demonstrated experience driving insights from RCM data.
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
