Key Responsibilities

Monitor national and local news and social media to identify key themes, emerging trends, risks, and real-time insights for clients
Leverage media monitoring platforms and AI tools to capture, analyze, and synthesize information quickly
Draft reports and research products that connect data to communications and business outcomes
Refine recurring reports to reflect evolving media trends, new data sources, and shifting client priorities
Flag emerging reputational risks for the appropriate stakeholders in real time
Collaborate across internal teams—including Corporate Strategy, Public Affairs, Creative, and Analytics—to align insights with activation strategies
Stay responsive to breaking news, including outside standard business hours when needed

Requirements

Experience in digital marketing, communications, or social media analysis
Strong writing skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail
Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Flexible and available to work non-traditional hours as needed
Self-starter driven to follow new marketing trends and opportunities
