About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Program & Project Management: Plan, track, and execute large-scale technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work with engineering, product, and business teams to align technical execution with strategic objectives.
• Technical Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to break down complex problems, provide technical direction, and drive solutions in real-time transaction environments (e.g., payments, trading, e-commerce, or other high-throughput systems).
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Process Optimization: Implement best practices in Agile, Scrum, or other development methodologies to improve efficiency and execution.
• Metrics & Reporting: Define success metrics, track progress, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Performance & Scalability Focus: Ensure that project solutions align with the requirements for high availability, low latency, and scalability in real-time transaction processing.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in technical program/project management, preferably in real-time transaction systems (e.g., fintech, payment processing, trading systems, or e-commerce).
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and related methodologies.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)—spoken and written, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Asana, Trello, or similar project management tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with high-availability, low-latency systems or understanding of real-time data processing, fault tolerance, and scalability in distributed systems.
• Experience working with international teams.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent business degree is a plus).

• Undergraduate degree or above in a relevant field.

Benefits & Perks

• Salary range: Annually 140k - 280k USD including bonus, subject to experience and capability.
