About the Role

Anthropologie is seeking a curious, detail-oriented Digital Analyst to join our Analytics team. The role involves driving digital strategy through data analysis, collaborating with various teams to optimize the website and app, and supporting fact-based, data-driven decision making within the Anthro Group family of brands. The position requires proficiency in SQL and involves working with large datasets to extract actionable insights, contributing to the larger Marketing organization within Anthropologie.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze browser behavior and purchase patterns across our site and app to understand customer mindset, identify patterns and friction points, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Partner frequently with creative, web content, and merchandising teams at Anthropologie to collaborate on site strategy, as well as digital analytics groups URBN-wide to share learnings and best practices
  • Turn quantitative insights into qualitative recommendations and distill data down to actionable opportunities through clear delivery and communication skills
  • Develop, distribute, and maintain automated reporting powered by SQL
  • Assist in QA of onsite tagging and lead communication to flag and resolve issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years analyzing data and translating insights into stories with actionable recommendations, preferably in retail or ecommerce environment
  • A minimum of 2-3 years utilizing SQL to execute complex queries in a database environment
  • Experience working with relational databases and cloud-based data platforms, particularly Snowflake, to query, analyze, and interpret large datasets for actionable insights
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including navigating the interface, building custom reports, and interpreting user behavior data
  • Additional proven experience with tools for data visualizations, such as Qlik, Looker Studio, or Tableau
  • Strong analytical capabilities, logical thought processes, and great curiosity to uncover opportunities and solve problems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong ability to juggle multiple priorities at once
  • Collaborative personality with the ability to also work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented organization

Nice to Have

  • Experience in retail or ecommerce environment
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms beyond Snowflake

Qualifications
