About the Role

ICF's Digital Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology department supporting federal customers with high-performance IT solutions. The division offers integrated, strategic solutions to public and private-sector clients, specializing in low-code, open-source, and cloud-native solutions. ICF is a leading provider of Appian BPM services with a deep center of excellence, offering certifications, extensive training, and opportunities for growth. The role involves supporting federal modernization projects, leveraging expertise in Appian development, and contributing to complex digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and support Appian BPM applications, including forms, reports, logic, and interface components.
Configure, debug, and integrate systems involving Application Servers such as JBoss, Weblogic, or IIS.
Create and develop Appian Plugins to extend platform capabilities.
Participate in all phases of software development for large-scale, business-critical applications following Agile methodologies.
Support growth activities such as RFI, RFP, prototypes, and oral presentations as needed.
Maintain and uphold necessary certifications for practice expertise.

Requirements

At least 1+ years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM.
At least 1+ years of experience developing Appian Plugins.
At least 1+ years of experience with Application Servers like JBoss, Weblogic, IIS.
At least 1+ years of experience in configuring, debugging, and systems integration.
At least 1+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.
At least 1+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale applications following Agile methodologies.
Bachelor's degree.
US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Must reside in the United States and perform work within the U.S.

Nice to Have

Certified Appian Level 1 Developer (Certified Associate Developer).
Certified Level 2 or Level 3 Appian Developer.
Experience working with Appian Tempo.
Java developer experience.
Experience on federal government projects.
Knowledge of architecture documentation and industry platforms such as IBM WebSphere, Mule, LAMP/JBOSS, HADOOP, Java, Microsoft/.Net.
Experience with Enterprise Application integration (SOA, ESB) and n-tier architectures.
Experience with Appian Sites.
Java developer with Maven builds experience.
Ability to understand both long-term and short-term perspectives and translate business needs into architecture requirements.
Strong analytical, technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
