About the Role

Our Government client in Carson City NV is looking for an Application Developer - Java. The agency has a need for a contract Application Developer to support various projects and production applications. The selected contractor will participate in Java application development and support.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in Java application development and support for various projects and production applications.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years developing in Java 1.8.
Minimum of 5 years developing SQL.
Minimum of 5 years developing using web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
Minimum of 5 years developing using Angular.
Minimum of 5 years developing using Spring Boot.
Must be able to pass Criminal background check.
Must be local to the area - Must be a resident of NV.
Work 100% onsite in Carson City, NV.
Work to at least 6/30/2026, with possible extensions.
Start around 8/04/2025.

Nice to Have

Java development experience.
Software design experience.
Code management experience.
Experience working on enterprise level projects as a Java developer.
Experience with both Waterfall and Scrum/Agile Project Management Methodologies.
Experience with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Qualifications

Experience and skills in Java 1.8, SQL, web development languages, Angular, and Spring Boot.
