About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
• Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions.
• Designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
• Ensures software standards are met.

Requirements

• The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with a Polygraph clearance.
• Experience in Java programming language.
• A basic understanding of how to design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• A Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field is required with 0+ years of software engineering experience or four (4) years of Software Development experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Nice to Have

• An ability to work in a team environment and individually is preferred.
• A current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• An ability to determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems.

• Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field or 4 years of relevant software development experience.

• Salary range of $81,400.00 - $122,200.00, with potential for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
