Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of Innovation & Renovation strategy for the supported product categories in the market. Liaise & leverage both the industry and global Nestlé Network insights to develop, implement, and execute product development activities (e.g., bench top, pilot plant, shelf-life testing, and internal/external factory testing) to achieve project goals and deadlines to delight the consumer & customer.
  • Introduction of new products with current processes within factories and external manufacturers. Collaborate and influence internal and external project teams to develop, industrialize, and launch on a complex range of Innovation and Renovation projects.
  • Continuously improve/optimize current product and processes within factories and external manufacturers according to local business needs and supply situation and/or implementation of initiatives. Lead technical projects including technical assistance, sourcing, quality improvements, compliance, and cost savings.
  • Work directly with customers, on an as requested basis, to understand back of house operations, customer requests and needs, and solve technical challenges with NPS products.

Requirements

  • A BS degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Position requires approximately 10-30% travel.
  • Prefer 0-3 years of product or process development experience in the food and beverage industry or related field of work with at least 1 internship.
  • Factory environment or equivalent supply industry experience across several product platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high performing environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills & ability to manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Strong communication skills: interpersonal, presentation, oral and written.
  • Highly motivated, critical thinker, goal oriented and easily adapts to change.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Preferred: SAP, Recipe Management Systems, Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

  • A BS degree in Food Science or related field.
