About the Role

This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. Located in Marysville, OH, you will engage in exploration and development projects, along with other R&D activities for prominent coffee brands such as NESCAFE and Starbucks. After completing an initial training period of 3-6 months to understand the instant coffee production process and White K-Cup product integration, you will collaborate closely with our R&D Specialists and Experts to innovate and develop cutting-edge technologies and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to major innovation projects focused on developing future coffee technologies and new products recipes
  • Coordinate bench scale and pilot scale trials
  • Participate in the design of new processes and new recipes
  • Assist Specialists and Experts in calculating the carbon impact of projects for I2L sustainability deliverables
  • Analyze trial data and consolidate findings
  • Document project progress through presentations and reports
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders
  • Engage in training to continuously enhance competencies
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Science, Pilot Plant, Sensory, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Processing, Chemical Engineering, or another related field
  • Previous professional experience a plus
  • Innovation spirit, breakthrough thinking
  • Curious, open minded, dynamic, autonomous profile
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work in cross functional team

Nice to Have

  • Experience in food or beverage product development
  • Knowledge of coffee production processes
  • Familiarity with sustainability metrics and carbon impact calculations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
