About the Role

This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. Located in Marysville, OH, you will engage in exploration and development projects, along with other R&D activities for prominent coffee brands such as NESCAFE and Starbucks. After completing an initial training period of 3-6 months to understand the instant coffee production process and White K-Cup product integration, you will collaborate closely with our R&D Specialists and Experts to innovate and develop cutting-edge technologies and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to major innovation projects focused on developing future coffee technologies and new products recipes
- Coordinate bench scale and pilot scale trials
- Participate in the design of new processes and new recipes
- Assist Specialists and Experts in calculating the carbon impact of projects for I2L sustainability deliverables
- Analyze trial data and consolidate findings
- Document project progress through presentations and reports
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders
- Engage in training to continuously enhance competencies
- Collaborate with Engineering, Science, Pilot Plant, Sensory, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Processing, Chemical Engineering, or another related field
- Previous professional experience a plus
- Innovation spirit, breakthrough thinking
- Curious, open minded, dynamic, autonomous profile
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work in cross functional team
Nice to Have
- Experience in food or beverage product development
- Knowledge of coffee production processes
- Familiarity with sustainability metrics and carbon impact calculations
