About the Role

This Mid-level engineer in Technology is skilled to design, develop and implement automation solutions using RPA and AI tools/platforms which will help the organization to enhance operational efficiency, streamline administrative workflows, improve data accuracy and compliance, optimize resource management, and reduce operational costs. The role involves leading troubleshooting of production issues, supporting risk management activities, and working on remediation/mitigation plans within Saint Luke's Health System, a faith-based, nonprofit health organization committed to excellence in patient care and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Understand the business needs of the client and mapping the To-Be process and translating the process into automated steps, supporting both to the functional and the technical part of the requirements.
Working with stakeholders to define the manual rules used today to govern the process and then translating those rules into automated commands.
Configuring new automated processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand.
Creating robust attended and unattended automations using object cloning, keystrokes, image recognition, PDF, OCR screen scraping, exception handling, and other technologies.
Develop and conduct test plans to include expected outcomes and identifying any possible exception (planned or unplanned).
Participate in workflow redesign identifying alternative ways to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
Monitor and support automations in production, troubleshooting issues that arise in day-to-day running of automated processes, and providing timely responses and solutions.
Stay up-to-date on a variety of technologies to recommend the best solution to meet automation goals.
Identify and resolve technical issues through unit testing, debugging, and investigation.

Requirements

Experience working on RPA tools (like UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc.) and AI, Machine Learning, industry development standards and their implementation.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience with process optimization.
Ability to understand requirements documentation, functional specifications, high-level design documents and system documentation.
Ability to change priorities quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to self-manage projects, due dates, and communicate status.
Strong understanding of software development concepts and procedures.
Experience in identifying the root cause of RPA defects and providing timely resolution.
Exposure to a wide variety of technology problems and solutions, driving best practices around coding, design, quality, and performance.
Analysis and verification of technical requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility, and testability.

Nice to Have

Experience with industry development standards and their implementation.
Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning technologies.

Qualifications

Applicable Experience: 3-5 years
Bachelor's Degree
