AVP, Content Creation- Financial Services

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve a long-term content strategy supporting business line goals and growth.
• Collaborate with business line leaders and attend business meetings to define the content strategy.
• Manage and mentor the content team, including business line contributors and external agencies.
• Oversee adherence to brand voice, editorial standards, and regulatory compliance across all content.
• Act as a strategic partner to business lines, legal, digital marketing, social media, PR, and the creative team.
• Drive high-level thought leadership campaigns by attending business line meetings and keeping up with industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• 7+ years of content marketing/editorial experience, with a minimum of 4+ years in financial services highly preferred.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Deep understanding of financial services.
• Strong portfolio of executive-level thought leadership and integrated content campaigns.
• Strategic planning, executive communication, leadership, and team development skills.
• Ability to show ownership of work, take on challenges, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with content marketing in financial services.
• Knowledge of competitor landscape in financial services.
• Experience managing teams and external agencies.

Qualifications
