About the Role

CGI Federal is currently seeking a Backend Developer to meet needs of a Content Management System. This project is a multi-year initiative to modernize the technology, infrastructure, design, and software used by the federal government to author, create, review, manage, publish, and distribute content to both government clients and the public. This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and maintenance of a Content Management System for federal government use.
Assist in modernizing technology, infrastructure, design, and software related to content management.
Support the creation, review, management, publishing, and distribution of content for government clients and the public.

Requirements

Experience in backend development, particularly with content management systems.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with flexibility for Lafayette, LA location.
Knowledge of modern software development practices and infrastructure.
