Backend Developer Stockholm

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain innovative solutions that meet client requirements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
• Work with modern development practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
• Help maintain system documentation and participate in project reviews
• Actively participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• A relevant technical education or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, application development, or backend engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development, ideally in an agile project environment
• Preferable experience from IT consultancy, digital agency, start-up, or similar fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of engaging with stakeholders and adding value to projects
• Flexibility to work on-site in and around Stockholm multiple times a week
• Fluent communication skills in English and Swedish
• Solid knowledge of .NET, API-driven development, and Privacy by Design
• Experience working with cloud solutions (Azure) and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in SQL, including database design and development
• Experience with CMS, preferably Optimizely, including content modelling, personalization, and e-commerce integration
• Experience working in an agile environment with tools like Jira and Confluence
