Brand Innovation Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Active collaboration with the Brand Innovation Director to drive the business forward with out-of-the-box ideas and strong leadership of a cross-functional team.
• Partner with Operations & Creative teams to manage product and packaging transitions, formulation improvements, and updates.
• Work directly with the QA team conducting new and existing product quality control flavor tastings.
• Collaborate with the creative team and external agencies to develop innovation launch support assets across social media, website, trade, and E-commerce channels.
• Conduct market analysis to understand market trends and opportunities.
• Write up and validate flavor and packaging concepts for innovations.
• Maintain innovation trackers and reporting tools to ensure all product commercialization deadlines are met.
• Manage recurrent cross-functional meetings to ensure open communication on innovation projects.
• Document and follow up on actions and decisions from meetings.
• Assist with preparing presentation materials for meetings.
• Assist with the Innovation team's expenses by processing and reconciling vendor invoices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing.
• 3+ years of experience in Brand Marketing and/or Product Development, preferably in CPG.
• Project management and leadership skills.
• Experience working with creative agencies and external partners.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and provide innovative approaches.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically from both brand and portfolio perspectives.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in product development within the consumer packaged goods industry.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of flavor formulation and packaging processes.
