BTP Solution Architect (ABAP)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with IT and business stakeholders across the enterprise to provide input into the development and execution of ERP Transformation strategy.
• Collaborate with EPL, PDL, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and determine whether BTP is the preferred solution.
• Translate business and service line requirements into technical solutions leveraging SAP BTP, RPA, and Analytics services.
• Design and architect end-to-end SAP BTP solutions that align with business objectives and requirements.
• Provide directionally accurate cost estimates for use in business case development.
• Lead the implementation of RPA solutions to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and integrate analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other SAP BTP analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
• Provide expertise in SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance on SAP BTP to enhance business processes.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to internal teams and clients.
• Stay updated on SAP BTP innovations, RPA trends, and analytics technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, analyze, and solve problems, including handling high-priority issues and emergency fixes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, management information systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience deploying or implementing projects as an SAP Solution Architect, with a focus on SAP BTP.
• 10 years of IT or equivalent business/industry work experience in a relevant subject area.
• Strong technical background in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Hands-on experience with RPA tools with SAP BTP.
• Expertise in SAP Analytics services, including SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and embedded analytics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• SAP BTP certification or relevant SAP certifications.
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Experience in Agile or DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities within SAP BTP.
• Demonstrated success in developing consultative relationships across organizational levels.
• Ability to transfer business requirements into solution design.
• Self-motivated with strategic agility and ability to manage ambiguity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, management information systems, or a related field.
• 10 years of relevant IT or business experience.
• Proven experience as an SAP Solution Architect focusing on SAP BTP.
