Business Analytics Intern

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist full-time project coordinators and managers on a variety of projects within the business.
• Conduct analysis based on provided requirements, utilizing large datasets and complex business requirements.
• Analyze data and results impacting internal and external customers to drive meaningful change on KPIs and objectives.
• Gather data through basic SQL or relational database querying, incorporating best practices and performance tuning.
• Produce reports, graphs, summaries, and presentations that convey analytic results clearly and align with business needs.
• Develop visuals for standard KPIs, recommending the best platform and design to answer business questions.
• Recommend updates to strategies based on data insights and KPI performance.
• Collaborate with team members to execute analytical and reporting initiatives.
• Review and refine analysis through iterative development, focusing on clarity, grammar, and brand standards.
• Participate in other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Ability to work 35-40 hours per week over 11 weeks.
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
• Ability to work in both independent and collaborative environments.
• Basic SQL and/or Teradata skills.
• Basic Tableau and/or Power BI skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint/Think-Cell and Excel.
• Basic understanding of Data Models.
• Interest in the telecommunications, cable, and media industries.
• Skills in accountability, communication, professional etiquette, relationship building, resilience, and teamwork.

Nice to Have

• Prior exposure to the business analytics field through internship or work experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience of 0-2 years.
