Calibrator Needed at Aftermarket Performance Shop and Manufacturer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and refine custom ECU calibrations, primarily for Ford platforms such as Mustang GT, GT500, and F-150
• Support both in-house builds and remote tuning customers
• Collaborate with sales and support teams to ensure calibrations meet customer goals
• Troubleshoot drivability, performance, or hardware integration issues
• Assist in R&D projects, dyno testing, and product development efforts
• Help improve internal systems, processes, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Solid experience in EFI tuning using SCT, HP Tuners, or similar tools
• Strong mechanical knowledge of late-model domestic performance vehicles
• Analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems and continuous learning
• Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable
• Experience using dyno equipment and datalogging tools
• Ability to manage workload independently while supporting the team

Nice to Have

• Ford-specific tuning experience
• Experience with remote tuning
• Familiarity with performance hardware such as boosted applications, injectors, and fuel systems
• Interest in contributing to marketing content, tech guides, or video walkthroughs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
