About the Role

The Campus - Analytics and Modeling Program Associate role at Fannie Mae offers an opportunity to develop and implement analytical skills through research, insights, and consultative services that support decision-making in the housing finance industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 10-week seminar-style training program covering mortgage industry knowledge and technical analytics skills such as Statistics, SQL, R, and Python.
  • Gain a strong understanding of Fannie Mae's business through hands-on experience and interaction with analytics teams during training.
  • Work with analytics teams to develop and implement predictive modeling, data visualization, and analytics infrastructure solutions.
  • Assist in building and applying models of loan performance, property valuation, and home price forecasting for financial and regulatory reporting.
  • Provide insights through AI/ML, econometric modeling, and web-based self-service solutions to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to targeted analytics and predictive modeling efforts to help business partners make informed decisions.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree obtained between December 2025 and Spring 2026.
  • Academic achievement with a preferred GPA of 3.3 or higher.
  • Strong analytical background with research and numerical problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to contribute to a team.
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen and results focus.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Fluency and aptitude with technology applications.
  • Majors in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Finance, Statistics, or Economics with a quantitative focus are preferred.

  • Experience or coursework in data science, computer science, finance, or economics.
  • Demonstrated research and numerical problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership experience and team contribution skills.

Qualifications
