About the Role

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at L & J. G. Stickley, Inc is a strategic leadership role responsible for aligning and scaling the company's core revenue channels—Retail, Wholesale, and E-Commerce—while launching and growing a new direct-to-consumer brand. This role involves unifying revenue-driving teams, overseeing brand extension, channel management, and customer experience, and partnering with other leadership to maximize market opportunities. The CRO plays a central part in the company's next phase of growth, leveraging a vertically integrated supply chain and a digital-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead brand stewardship and extension by translating the company's 125-year legacy into modern systems and storytelling, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
  • Oversee channel architecture and portfolio management to ensure clarity, discipline, and harmony across residential and other relevant channels.
  • Launch and scale a new direct-to-consumer brand with full control over pricing, experience, and margin, complementing the broader ecosystem.
  • Partner with the VP of Strategic Growth Channels to unlock new market opportunities across OEM, contract, to-the-trade, and marketplace segments.
  • Architect a seamless, modern customer journey across showroom, web, and post-purchase touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency and operational excellence.
  • Leverage the vertically integrated supply chain to maintain strong margins and pricing clarity across all revenue streams.
  • Educate internal teams and external partners on pricing logic, brand positioning, and growth strategy to build trust and shared success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in sales, marketing, or related field, with experience in the furniture industry considered a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of revenue leadership across multi-channel environments.
  • Experience scaling premium brands and launching new ones.
  • Ability to build a D2C ecosystem from scratch, including digital infrastructure, customer acquisition, and post-purchase experience.
  • Digital-first mindset with fluency in modern tools, platforms, and performance metrics.
  • Strategic understanding of pricing, margin logic, and customer segmentation.
  • Ability to lead with clarity, empathy, and precision.
  • Comfort navigating legacy and innovation, honoring tradition while building future growth.
  • Degree in a related field.
